The Titan 1 unpatented mining claim AMC 396030 offers a diverse 40 acre area to prospect. It's located in the alluvial fan of the Weaver Mountains, and has red, mineral rich soil throughout the claim. It has several creeks for digging, and some excellent spots to metal detect the quartz fields. It has easy 2 wheel drive access and a nice trail running through the claim. Located about 2 1/2 miles off paved road Rt. 89. Titan 1 has a lot of excellent prospects from intermittent streams to big boulders, and quartz fields. There is plenty of heavily mineralized soil and ancient gravels, along with trumpet plants. It's a great area for rockhounding. I've seen a lot of excellent specimens come from here. Easy 2 wheel drive access.
