 Located in Congress, AZ

Hidden Treasure is a 20 Acre Placer mining claim located between Congress and Stanton, Arizona off of Stanton Road. There is exposed granite bedrock in several areas of the main wash along with good gravels to dig throughout. It is rare to find an area with such convenient access to exposed bedrock. There is also a mine shaft with a dramatic quartz vein in the center of the claim just west of the road that runs North-South through the claim (red line on maps).

There are two roads that allow access to the claim: A road coming in from the East off of '5 Rocks' road, and another trail coming up North into the claim from Stanton Road just 50 feet or so West of '5 Rocks' road.

'5 Rocks' Road that is referred to in the directions is an unmarked trail off of Stanton Road about 4 miles down on the North side of the road. The reason it's called '5 Rocks' is because at the turnoff for it there are 5 boulders stacked in a pile: 4 on the ground and 1 on top in the center of the pile. It will take you to the claim but the trail about 20 feet West of '5 Rocks' on Stanton Road is much easier to drive and more straight-forward to the claim.
