AZ105232984 Unpatented 20 Acres

 Located in Congress, AZ

Trailblazer is a 20 acre placer mining claim in Congress located at the base of the Weaver Mountains. It shows an impressive amount of quartz and exposed bedrock. There are visible quartz veins in the ground along with the presence of crystalline quartz as well (see pictures). There are several narrow dry washes running diagonally from NE to SW (see maps) that have lots of bends, gravels and black sands.

Trailblazer would make a great claim for drywashing, metal detecting, and/or setting up a recirculating sluice. The copious amounts of quartz specimens and other minerals also make this a rockhounder's dream.

The road going through Trailblazer is fairly mild as well. Medium clearance 2WD is recommended. There are also places to camp nearby if you'd like.
